Garden description
This large country estate and functioning vineyard had the main residence serving as a vacation rental. We completely redesigned the entry drive and areas around the residence as a lush and welcoming place to entertain guests, relax or stroll. A large pond was also landscaped  as a place to enjoy swimming or kayaking, as well as an easily accessible stroll garden near, but a short distance removed from the house. The property also had about 7 acres of redwood forest that we installed trails throughout to provide even more walking potential and a way of enticing visitors into the woodlands to enjoy the creeks, waterfalls and the beauty of our coast redwood ecosystem. Thus visitors could enjoy sun or shade, gardens or nature as well as the vineyards and apple orchards - as they wished - a microcosm of Western Sonoma County.
