Property description
A large rural property with a well re-grown second growth redwood forest along a small perennial creek felt quite remote from the residence. The owners wished to visit more of the property, especially the lovely creek and redwood forest but were frustrated by extensive poison oak, steep slopes and many impassable obstacles in the forest. We constructed a wide trail and removed poison oak 10' on either side to prevent contact. The trail loops along the length of the creek, exposed a lovely waterfall and poked into orchards and ponds along the route. Now the full breadth of the property can be enjoyed any time of the year during a casual stroll.
